1927 Erskine What She Used To Be

I was wanting to show the original inside of the Erskine which was a difficult to find any great pictures. I found one that was a barn find for sale you can see the original advertisment here:

http://barnfinds.com/well-hung-barn-find-1927-erskine-sedan/

Go check it out for me it is very intersting to see all the little details of these cars that were only produced for a very short time. This car is the same color that mine was originially you can still see tiny patches of this color on different parts of the vehicle. All the vehicles from this time were simple with the layout of the dash. The petals are tiny you can really see that in this picture. The rear view mirror is a lot smaller than what we see in today's modern vehicles. If you look closely at left hand side you can see the glove box on the drivers side that I talked about in a previous article.
The doors are what drew me to this car when it was sitting in the field. I really like the way they open up and the handles on the doors. You can see the leather and wood roof in this picture that is gone completely in mine. The fabric was not very plush but very durable as this is the original interior of this car that is close to 100 years old. The backs of the seats are a metal "bathtub" which are still in the one that I have. From this picture you can see the original shifter it is tiny compared to a lot of them in modern vehicles.
If you are looking for something fun go check out the site that had this Erskine for sale they have some really interesting vehicles on their site.
